This was an experiMENTAL piece for me using alcohol inks. By nature, I like precise control when I work, so every now and then I get out the alcohol inks and embrace my abstract side. It’s frustrating but fun to see what you get! Alcohol inks move everywhere, there’s so little surface tension. Try as I might, you can’t really paint with the medium, but I use all kinds of common instruments to “influence” it’s path. Flick rubbing alcohol with a toothbrush and watch the show as the spatters react to the ink.
